Nancy Reed - Vocalist and bassist was born in Brooklyn, N.Y

Her father, Marcus Wilbun was a jazz and classical pianist who sat in at the historic Minton's jam sessions.

Her mother, Lillie Wilbun, sang opera and taught Nancy to sing.

Her first professional performance was at age 19. By age 22, Nancy was performing full time - and has been working ever since.

She has performed for the last twenty years in a wide variety of settings and venues. Artistically consistent and always the consummate professional.

Nancy Reed has kept busy, performing in Japan with the Nancy Reed Jazz Show, Mexico's Cancun Jazz Festival with the Nancy and Spencer Reed Sextet, twenty one annual appearances at the Delaware Water Gap Jazz Festival and at countless private and club engagements in the eastern Pennsylvania area where she resides.

Nancy most recently performed in ten cities on tour in Northern Italy with David Leonhardt.

Nancy has recorded four albums with her husband, guitarist Spencer Reed, the latest of which is their CD Together. Her latest recording A Time For Love is a collaboration with pianist Dave Leonhardt.

Nancy has recorded as backup for pianist Bob Dorough on his album This Is A Recording and with Stephanie Nakasian on her CD Bittersweet. Nancy has also sung and spoken on radio and television commercials.

Nancy and Spencer Reed can be seen on national television on BET network's Jazz Discovery Program.

Spencer Reed - guitarist and vocalist has been performing continually since 1972. Born and raised in New York City, Spencer traveled to lots of gigs by subway.

Spencer toured with the USO for a short time throughout the Caribbean and Panama and, after freelancing for a year in New York, settled in the Pocono Mts. of Pennsylvania where he resides and works with his wife, singer and bassist Nancy Reed. The two have performed often at the Deer Head Inn, a jazz landmark.

Spencer has performed with or backed up many "name" acts such as Billy Ekstine, the Fifth Dimension, Robert Goulet, Sergio Franchi, Frankie Laine, Bobby Rydell and many others that travel through the Pocono Mountain area as well as maintaining a busy schedule of private engagements and teaching.

Spencer has recorded with Bob Dorough, appeared in the Central Pa. Festival of the Arts and performed with the Bob Crosby Bobcats at the Bix Beiderbeck Jazz Festival in  Davenport, Iowa, the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee in California, the Red Nichols Jazz Festival in Utah, the San Juan Islands Jazz Festival in Washington and the Wildflower Music Festival in Pa.

Keaton douglas

Keaton Douglas

Keaton Douglas is a singer of unusual versatility. Equally adept at a Verdi aria with full Orchestra, a jazz ballad with piano, a swinging chart with an 18 piece Big Band or a Polish folk song accompanied by a Polka band, Ms. Douglas has wowed tens of thousands in various venues throughout her career.

She was delighted to have been asked to perform for President and Mrs. George W. Bush and Vice President and Mrs. Dick Cheney at this year's presidential Inauguration where she was the featured entertainment along with comedian Drew Carey and country singer, Linda Davis. The magnificent Guy Lombardo Orchestra, under the baton of Al Pierson backed Keaton. She has been featured at Birdland, New York City's premiere jazz club, with the Lew Anderson All Star Big Band, as well as Atlantic City's Tropicana Hotel and Casino. She has appeared as an opening act for Jerry Vale, Al Martino, Julius LaRosa and Buddy Greco. She has had the privilege of opening for Ms. Nancy Wilson. She has been a featured artist at the Newark Jazz Festival, and has been featured frequently in the media as the soloist for the Montclair based Diane Moser's composers Big Band. Listen To Keaton
